The Apple Chill Cloggers are an American high-kicking, foot-stomping folk dance troupe from Chapel Hill, NC, dedicated to the preservation, performance, and promotion of the music and dance from the Southern Appalachian mountains, since 1975.

We are a traditional team, but we also represent elaborated expression through elements of authentic, regional "flat-footing" steps and traditional square dance formation in combination with lively modern step combinations and routines.

Clogging is a combination of influences from English, Irish, Native American, and African dance steps and rhythms, and is the official folk dance of the state of North Carolina.
